This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students all walk to school every day. We live in areas where it can get to below-zero temperatures with the wind chill. Our winters are usually in the single digits. None of my students come to school with anything to help protect them from the freezing cold temperatures but a jacket.
Help give my students gloves to protect them from the freezing temperatures for when they all walk to and from school. The goal is to be able to provide every one of my students with a pair of gloves.
My students are special because they all want to come to school and learn. Making their commute here safer for them will definitely brighten their day!
