Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to give my students a warm welcome when they enter class. Every day when they enter I greet them at the door. The sphere is a fun tool to help with mindful breathing. Decorations such as world flags help bring awareness to other cultures. The rack will help us organize. Posters will help greet the students.
I want my students to feel welcome when they enter the class and feel accepted the whole time they are there.
These items will serve to help my students feel welcome when they enter class and comfortable as they are in class. Creating a welcoming environment in my French and English classes is important to me.
