it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine being three and four year olds in a new environment that you are unfamiliar with; those are my Pre-K students. My Pre-K students are in a school setting for the very first time, a setting that they have never seen until now! My 18 beautiful, smart, and eager students come to school everyday excited to see their friends, teachers, and classroom to learn. Every morning, their "good mornings" and smiles come into the classroom ready for a new day, a new day of learning.
My Project
My project is for the the 3K and Pre-K classes at my school. We welcomed three classes of Pre-K students and one class of 3K students, the youngest learners in our building! It is so exciting to see our young learners come into school everyday eager to be in the classroom with their friends and teachers.
Warmth, love, and care are essential for our youngest learners.
One of the biggest parts of our day is Gross Motor time! Our students go outside for their gross motor development. We are in need of gloves for their little hands, especially in the winter! The gloves will help keep their hands warm outside in the cold temperatures. When they get to choose their own colored gloves, they are beginning to be self aware of their likes! They will also learn how to be independent as they learn to put their little fingers in their gloves.
The mini plush animals will be used to help our students with their social emotional learning. These mini plush animals will help our students learn how to take of something that are much smaller than them! With the mini plush animals, our students will learn to show love and care, as well as gain a sense of responsibility for their little plush animal.
