This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My studious 2nd-grade scholars are currently attending school in person. My students are both English Language Learners and students whose first language is English, they show up eager to learn each day. They enjoy reading diverse books and participating in hands-on STEM activities.
Teaching the youth of today is very exciting…Soon, the youth will be our leaders of tomorrow.
I enjoy teaching them things that will make them successful in the future. My students come from a hard-hit economic community but rise to the challenges put before them each day.
My Project
My students are learning full-time in school this year. I would like to give them a hoodie to keep warm this winter! Students will be able to keep warm on the bus ride to and from school and also in the classroom as it can be chilly in winter.
Having a pair of warm matching hoodies will not only keep them cozy, but they will have a sense of family with the whole class having one.
I will also personalize these for my students! They will love them and it will be great in the classroom as we are required to keep windows cracked open due to COVID.
