Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These items will truly help make the classroom a warm and earthy environment!

The green vines will hang around the walls to make students feel like they are surrounded by nature.

Being in a classroom indoors for seven hours a day is mentally exhausting. Humans, especially children, are not meant to stay indoors for that long. But these vines will give us a little warmth of the outdoors.

The oil diffuser will give us an aroma of calm and zen. Students are under constant stress and anxiety from the daily academic pressures. Scents of lavender and other natural scents are proven to help us calm down. The fridge, microwave, and other items will be used by students for daily nourishment to feed their brains and minds!
