This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year the children and our school went through a lot due to COVID-19. We are all trying to figure out how to deal with it all. How are the children going to focus on personal well-being and learning?

The children are a great bunch of kids that want to feel safe and secure.

The little scholars are eager to learn and strive for excellence. They may be facing all sorts of challenges due to the coronavirus, but that does not keep them from having high expectations when it comes to their education.

My Project

Many of the boys and girls have lost their sense of security and structure due to COVID-19. One day they were at school and the next they were at home wondering if and when school would begin again. These soft and lovable stuffed animals are just what the kids need to feel a bit more secure and safe.

If you have ever had a favorite soft teddy bear or soft squeezable fluffy cat or dog, then you can understand how soothing a cuddly toy can be when hugged.

The children need a soft animal to hug and hold during class for comfort and to take home for even more added comfort and love.

If you love to see children smile and feel comfort and warmth, then this is the project for you. Your kind generosity will ensure they have a bit of warmth and security to hold on to.
