Warm & Cozy Kids

Help me give my students warm blankets for naptime, hats & scarves for outside play times, and sweaters for staying warm and cozy at school.

My Project

Warm, cozy blankets and clothing will help my students feel comfortable inside our classroom and outside at recess. Blankets will be used at naptime, sweaters throughout the day when needed, and hats and neck warmers will be used at outdoor recess. When the children are warm they are able to focus on learning new things and have fun while learning. They are not distracted by feeling cold and physically uncomfortable.

The donations to this project will provide warmth for the children when they take their nap, when they feel cold in the classroom, and when they are playing outside in the winter.

Currently, some kids have blankets that are sent from home and some children use their coat as a blanket to stay warm at naptime. If all children have a school blanket, they will feel comforted, warm and secure at naptime.

During the day, children will get cold and have nothing to wear in the classroom to stay warm. Uniform sweaters will provide all children with a classroom sweater that is available in their cubby when needed.

We always go out in the winter time for recess and many of the children do not have hats and neck warmers. Hats and neck warmers will keep the children warm and more active at outside play times.
