Warm Clothing for Freezing Babies

Help me give my students warm winter clothing please. My students need hats, waterproof gloves, coats and snowpants that will fit them.

My Project

My students went on a sledding field trip last week. Several students did not have proper winter gear. One student brought an extra pair of snow pants for her friend. I borrowed waterproof gloves from another classroom.

I wish that all my students had winter clothes that kept them warm.

My new student is very tall and built heavy. He told me "It's ok Ms. Whitford, I have two layers of sweatpants on." He wanted to go sledding no matter what. Many students came back wet and cold. The wind goes right through plain clothing.

We have coats at our school, but I have searched through those already. It doesn't have the larger sizes; and many of my students at 10 years old are taller than I am. I would love to see them all playing like children instead of trying to stay inside on iPad.
