My Project

Please help my students have basic needs in the classroom so that they can concentrate at school. We need a portable heater, tissue, child-friendly wipes, and an emergency backpack filled with a first aid kit and additional supplies.

Our school building was built in 1924 and the heater in our aging building is unreliable.

The heating is often turned off by the district's facilities department and we often have to call the district to get heat on particularly cold days. There are days when we are so cold that we end up with headaches, even as we stay bundled up. The frigid mornings are hard for us to focus and learn.

Most families cannot afford to donate tissue boxes and noses are constantly running or tears need to be dried. My students are eager to learn and being in a warm classroom with basic health supplies would go a long way. We would appreciate your support!
