This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have 18 lovely Pre kinder who is always eager to learn and play in the classroom. What makes my students special is that they really enjoy learning during large group learning and playing in the block area where there should have a carpet for them to gather and learn. Our old carpet is super old, dirty and filled with stains. A carpet can serve many purposes. If our classroom have a new carpet, it will allow my students to gather for circle time. It helps to reduce noise. When a classroom has a carpet, children are inspired to learn, to interact, with one another and with the environment in ways that promote a higher level of meaningful learning and creativity.
