Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a very diverse place and this year we have about 1/3 Muslim students. My students, even though young, hear their parents worries. My students and their families are all unsafe right now. I ask for these items because I know my students. These toys will allow them to play, be safe and happy, develop social skills, develop English communication and English vocabulary.

My students do not have these toys at home and they mostly are new and were not here for any preschool.

Each child is so wonderful in my class, everywhere! They all deserve to feel joy and to feel special and appreciated and chosen sometimes. They do their best when this is a normal school day!
