This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to start reading. Help these young learners take off in reading and close the literacy gap with a Speakaboos interactive picture book subscription from AKJ.

My students are a very dynamic group of students excited to learn every day with a positive attitude.

They are second language learners ready for the opportunity to succeed in school. Though they face many challenges reading can be very rewarding and I am committed to changing the lives of these students. I know they can learn and will be inspired with these Speakaboos digital books.

My Project

We are fortunate enough to get some new technology for our class this year with DonorsChoose. I know my students will benefit from this digital interactive subscription. What will make the difference now, is having a Speakaboos subscription, a digital picture book library we can read, read, read! An online subscription through AKJ Books would provide my students hundreds of book titles to read, listen and learn with our new technology.

We can all give our best and believe that these young learners will benefit from these books.

We can make a difference and a positive impact on our students. I know the support from one another and our communities is what will make it happen. Let us work together to change the cycle of illiteracy. We can all help.
