My students need an electric pencil sharpener to be able to sharpen their pencils daily without any fuss.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Maseba's classroom raised $230

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Having plenty of nice sharp pencils will enable my students to write neater and waste less class time looking for something to write with. We currently have to wait until the end of the day to access the only high-volume sharpener on our floor of the building. We just want to write with no fuss!
My students attend a public elementary school in a high-poverty area.
They are all receiving free breakfast and lunch.
These third-grade students are hard-working, motivated, and loved to be challenged. They love to write and writers' workshop is one of their favorite times during the day.
My Project
I have purchased several electric sharpeners on my own over the years and they have all died. I have researched various brands of sharpeners and this model seems to have the best reviews. I am hoping that this particular high-volume sharpener can keep up with my students' enthusiasm for writing for many years!
Having access to basic writing tools should be a given in a classroom.
However, with the current economic situation, classroom materials are being cut. Your donation for this request will be greatly appreciated!
