This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recess is normally a time for students to run and play around freely on the playground. However to ensure the safety of our students, we have certain days where our class can play on the playground. Since our school doesn't really have a grass area, our students' options are very limited when we are on the pavement.

Recess is an important part of the day where kids can be kids and socialize with others!

As a result, it is my goal to provide my students with a variety of things to play with at recess when we are playing on the pavement area. The chalk would allow for my students to draw and show off their art skills. The jump ropes will allow my students to jump rope individually while the other set of jump ropes can be for students who want to learn how to double dutch. The soccer ball, tennis balls, and other playground balls will allow my students to play soccer and other games. When recess is done, all recess equipment will go in our new equipment bag. Thank you for making our recess fun!
