Wanted: Library Storage for Growing Readers!

My students need a book cart to store larger books and sort them according to genre, author, or theme.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Sweeney's classroom raised $393

My Students

My fourth grade class is comprised of 28 amazing readers. Our school serves students from Kindergarten through eighth grade and is a title one school and all students are eligible to receive free lunches.

Our school does not have a library so I try to have plenty of reading materials on hand for them to read, but we need to organize them.

We currently have all the chapter books organized in nice new bins, but there are hundreds of larger books in broken bins and even milk crates.

My Project

My fourth graders love to read. Unfortunately we do not have a school library. I would love to create a welcoming classroom library that encourages students to read even more.

We have some new bins to store all of our wonderful leveled chapter books, but we need a place to organize all our larger books.

Right now, the large nonfiction Science and Social Studies books are in broken bins and milk crates. This beautiful book shelf would allow us to sort all our books and create a beautiful space for students to select books. It would also help during writing time since they often write about non-fiction topics and need to do research.
