My Students

Our students here at my school are eager and willing to learn! We teach at a low-income with almost the entire school with free/reduced lunch. They have the biggest hearts but sometimes do not show it in the best of ways. They come to school to be loved and we are here to do just that! We also strive to give them the best education by finding a lot of different ways to teach and to learn. I also think that these students deserve more than they have, which is why I chose to work and stay here!

My Project

My students are so excited to start coding in the classroom! We have been learning the basics on Code.org and are looking forward to start coding with the various robots we have at our school!

With the LEGO boost creative toolboxes, kids can build five different robots from one set.

Each robot is progressively more challenging and teaches different skills. Kids can build and code interactive, motorized robots, models and creations with distance, color and tilt sensor technologies. This is one of the best robot kits for kids out there!
