Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The majority of my students are bilingual and speak Spanish and English. They have developed a genuine love of reading. I love when I see my students pick up a book, find a cozy spot in the classroom and get lost into the story. My little learners are constantly asking me for more chapter books to read. As their teacher, I am ecstatic when I see them wanting to read on their own.

Help me give my little readers a diverse set of engaging chapter books to read.

Reading will expand my students' vocabulary, creativity, and imagination. My students will benefit greatly from having a larger collection of books to read from. I would like a larger collection of reading material so that my students can gain a deeper understanding of the world and develop empathy. My goal is to help them become lifelong readers.
