Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am an ESL K-2 teacher and I work in a low-income minority community. I currently teach students that are learning the English language.
Currently these wonderful students are in need of a copy machine where we could create projects with color and have materials for learning a new language.
Having a copy machine will bring student work to life. The students love to show off their work and with a copy machine handy they are able to keep their original writing or drawing pieces safe and display their work on the bulletin board or in their portfolios as reference.
Students learning a new language need to exhibit their masterpieces because this is the best way to let us know as teachers that they are understanding what is being taught to them. With your help these students will be able to have extra copies of their work to take home and show their parents of their prized possessions. We hope to have your support and thank you for everything :)
