My students need access to a paper cutter, storage shelves and file cabinets for supplies, tables, an art light box and other items destroyed by Hurricane Harvey.
My Art Students love attending Art Class! They are enthusiastic about creating and exploring different types or art and mediums. I love giving them the opportunity to be creative, use their imagination and create a masterpiece.
My students have been through a lot this year with Hurricane Harvey and Art Class gives them an opportunity to learn and create.
Due to the storm, our school is only able to attend school for half a day at our High School campus 15 minutes away. We will be sharing classrooms and materials with the high school all year, due to the amount of water in our Middle School campus.
Thank you for considering donating for our students!
My Project
My students need access to supplies in the art room. The storage shelves, file cabinets and tables will help organize the art supplies and give the students a place to work on projects. We also lost our paper cutter, light boxes, games and other supplies in Hurricane Harvey.
With these resources, my students will be able to learn and create in a furnished and organized classroom.
This month we move into portable buildings at our campus and these materials and supplies will allow for a functional learning environment.
Having proper storage lends to easier access, which in turn creates a more efficient and thorough learning environment. This project will fulfill the needs of my students.
