This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This was the first year back after my students have been distance learning all last year. It has been such a joy seeing them in person. Having them this year reminded me how important it is to develop those long lasting bonds we can make with our students when they are physically in the classrooms.

For all of the hard work that my students have made, our school is planning an outdoor picnic celebration.

This is to recognize all of their achievements as they move on to the next grade level.

I plan on giving away some outdoor prizes to promote this event as well as encouraging them to be active outdoors during the summer.
