In our classroom, students aren't just learning math — they're building life skills like goal setting, responsibility, and organization!

Each week, my students set a personal goal for how much classroom money they want to earn by Friday. If they reach their goal, they celebrate with "Fun Friday" — a special time to enjoy fun activities at the end of the week. This system motivates them to work hard, manage their classroom currency wisely, and stay focused on their learning.
To make this system even stronger, we need wallets to help students keep their classroom money safe and organized. Right now, it's a challenge for them to manage their earnings without a reliable place to store it. Having individual wallets will teach them money management in a hands-on, meaningful way.
Additionally, my students thrive when learning through games. By providing materials like dice and envelopes, they'll have the tools they need to play multiple math games, while staying organized and keeping our space neat. These games build fluency, critical thinking, and confidence — all while making math feel exciting and fun!
We are also requesting zipper pouches to help students stay organized with their reading materials. These pouches will allow them to keep multiple books ready and easily accessible, encouraging more frequent and independent reading throughout the day.
