The new drawers, bins, file boxes, and teacher organizer have made such a difference in our classroom. We now have a designated space for everything—from board games and classroom supplies to materials students use every day. My students can easily access what they need without having to ask me where something is a hundred times!\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were excited to see our classroom getting more organized. They especially loved being able to see exactly where everything belonged and being able to independently get the supplies they needed.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these organized spaces to help students become more independent and responsible for our classroom. Whether they are grabbing a board game for indoor choice time or getting supplies for a class activity, they can now find what they need quickly and easily. These materials have made our classroom run so much more smoothly and have given my students the independence to take ownership of their learning space. For some of my students, having the ability to move while they work helps them stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn. What may seem like a simple seating option has made a meaningful difference in students' ability to complete their work and participate in lessons.\r\n\r\nThe wobble seats have also become an essential seating choice for students who need movement while working. Instead of movement becoming a distraction, students can use the wobble seats in a productive way while continuing to focus on their learning. I have seen students who previously struggled to remain focused become more engaged and able to complete their work when given this seating option.\r\n\r\nThey have also become a positive classroom incentive. Students can earn time to use a wobble seat at their desk by following classroom expectations, demonstrating responsibility, and making positive choices. This gives students something motivating to work toward while reinforcing our classroom expectations.\r\n\r\nThese seats have provided students with another way to learn that meets their individual needs. They have helped create a more flexible and supportive classroom environment where students can move, focus, and learn in a way that works best for them. For example, if we start to talk about insects during class time, Miss Malanga can print out a worksheet for everyone right then and there!
