Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the new season arrives and the weather changes, our youngsters lack basic necessities like rain jackets and umbrellas. With your help, we can provide warmth to help our children stay comfortable during the Spring and Summer months.
Your kindness will make our students feel cared for and loved by their community.
Imagine the joy of a child enjoying a rainy day while wearing the proper protection for the weather as they walk to and from school. Your contribution of rain jackets and umbrellas will provide our students with this wonderful experience.
We are also asking for a variety of materials such as a storage reading bench and a bookshelf lamp to make the reading area more inviting. Last but not least, a variety of games for different learning areas in the classroom that will help enhance language, social skills, mathematical thinking, and exploration, to ensure that each student is getting the most out of their first learning experiences. Small trash bags and storage box will be used to send clothes home when students have accidents.
