This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the biggest problems i've experienced with my scholars this year is their intense urge to wander around our learning environment. After brainstorming with our campus social emotional learning coordinator, we came up with the idea to allow students to utilize an in class walking pad to release the excess energy they have built up.

A large number of my middle schools have attention deficit disorder, and it is often a struggle to keep them engaged.

The traditional format of remaining seated for an extended period of time has shown to be a great struggle, which directly affects their academic success. Having a walking pad in the classroom will give them a way to be active, but silently, without disturbing others. With your donation, you can help potentially uncover a solution for a problem that affects classrooms nationwide! Thank you in advance for your willingness to help!
