My Project
In two weeks, the schoolhouse doors will open for returning and new students. I am excited to meet our new students; however, I have been planning for some of our returning students, especially as it relates to brain breaks and needing a bit of extra time.
There is only one me, but quite a handful of students!
I am attempting to manage the time being spent outside of the classroom by students when requesting a break. Need water? We have water bottles. Need to move your feet? Head on over to the walking pad!
Students can walk it out on the walking pad. They will still have the option of taking a break, but this time, it can be managed. If a student spends too much time in the hallway, I am unable to leave my group to track their whereabouts.
The bean bag chair will complete the look of the cozy area that we have set up in the classroom. Students use this area the most in my room. Whether it's independent reading or small group reading and tech time, an additional bean bag chair keeps them off of the floor and a bit more relaxed when indulging in a good book.
