My Project

The phrase "walk a mile in my shoes" I am sure is a thought my multilingual learners have on a daily basis when faced with expectations of learning content that is not in their native language. I am attempting to alleviate some of their frustration with technology.

Scanmarker Air Reader Translation pens will assist my multilingual learners in making content in English accessible and communicating with their peers and teachers easier.

The classroom set of headphones will be beneficial when the students are taking their benchmark tests and English proficiency assessment since the format is computerized with oral administration in English. The storage bags will provide secure and space saving storage when the headphones are not in use.

The goal of this project is to provide technology to multilingual learners that will make English content accessible and provide them with academic success.

My students are special because they are navigating socially and academically in an environment where they do not fully understand the language despite the frustration. I want to make their "mile" a more enjoyable journey.
