My Students

Challenges are a part of life. How you face those challenges make the difference. My learners face the challenge of being minorities as well as socio-economically disadvantaged. What does that mean? Our learners come from households that don't know where their next meal is coming from. Our learners know that they can get breakfast and lunch at school...but who knows about supper, the weekends, school breaks?

Our learners face this challenge with determination.

They know what they have and don't have, but they don't let it stop them. Our learners often come to school with little to no supplies but still try!

My Project

My learners are at home, in noisy environments, trying to pay attention. It is a struggle for them to hear me or for me to hear their response. The headphones with mics will make it easier for students to hear and respond, not just to me but to their peers as well.

"My work looks bad" is the sentence I hear all too frequently.

My learners will use the wireless mouse(s) to navigate their Chromebooks and digital notebooks/assignments. Trying to use the small keypad mouse on a Chromebook is frustrating and often ineffective.
