Every year I get a fresh batch of giggles, smiles, and nervous looks, but, I always manage to merge them all into great expectations. Starting with hygiene to pen, pencils and paper we will create a wholesome, clean learning environment.
Financial Literacy has become increasingly important, and although the course is listed under a Social Studies course it has become obvious that it also needs to be covered in mathematics classes.
My plan is to integrate financial literacy in Algebra 1 and Algebra II. Lessons will take the form of projects which students will submit once per month.
Ink for printing is needed for the classroom to enable the printing of original documents, student submissions, and also editing. These projects will be kept as artifacts until the end of the year to facilitate the effective auditing of the course.
