Help me give my students the opportunity to show their creativity when it comes to designing a solution to a given task.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Cain's classroom raised $576

My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds but they do not let that stop them from making it to school every day. They amaze me every day with how they are able to come into my room and be ready to grow as learners. We have an over 60% free or reduced rate for lunch in our school. I am hoping to improve the opportunities and experiences for my students that my district may not be able to provide that will guarantee the best environment to be successful. My goal is to make my classroom comfortable to encourage students to take academic risks and step outside of their comfort zones.
My Project
This kit when allow our students the opportunity to explore with a bubble solution. The Exploration or Imagining stage of the process includes trying to create bubbles in specific ways and learning how to manipulate the bubble solution. The design challenge takes the fun one step further as students create a way to make the largest or most unusual bubbles they can!
Bubble Bananza can be intermingled with our science curriculum in multiple ways.
Students will also be able to work with their peers and collaborate on what they believe will be the best design for a bubble wand. Allowing students the freedom to create, collaborate, and generate multiple solutions will help prepare them for thinking critically in the future. Having multiple ways to look at a problem keeps a growth mindset within us.
