Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Give my students the ability to become successful in their volunteering endeavors throughout the local community. My students have the opportunity to go into the community at various organizations by making a difference with their volunteering efforts. We focus on "Community Service" and think that it is vital for each student to participate.

The cleaning supplies will be used to help keep the vehicle that we transport the students in clean and sanitized.

I am requesting notebooks for the students to be able to make important notes and log their volunteer hours in along with the black pens to do so. The printer will be used to print important documents related to their volunteer work in my class and for them to be able to print and handwrite "Thank you" notes for the businesses that they network with on a regular basis to volunteer.

By students being able to be successfully prepared for their volunteer role the requested materials would be a great help to my students as they would be greatly appreciated.
