This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

BHS Girls Volleyball Teams (Varsity, JV, and Frosh) earned the title of Desert Sky League Champions this season! This is the first time in school history that all three volleyball teams went undefeated in league play. We plan on continuing this winning tradition at our school! Thank you!

My Project

The athletic and academic potential of our female student-athletes is limitless. Many of the skills and habits learned in athletics are easily transferable to the pursuit of academics—like concentration, work ethic, leadership ability, quick thinking, dealing with setbacks, perseverance and working with others.

Our athletes appreciate and are truly deserving of having quality sports equipment.

Although our current set of volleyballs have been taken care of properly, they are now worn-down due to the last three seasons of regular practices and games. Our student-athletes would truly appreciate new high-quality volleyballs to replace our current set.
