Volleyball-Lifetime Lessons

My Students

I am the varsity volleyball coach at W.N. High School in Wichita, Kansas . I am passionate about high school girls learning to play volleyball. This is a sport that helps girls makes connections that can last a lifetime. These girls will be together everyday learning not only volleyball, but life skills that will stay with them for a lifetime. Volleyball helps girls with not only teamwork, but healthy choices by staying active everyday during the summer and after school.

My Project

The items that we are requesting are items that will help my volleyball players become better players. They will be able to improve their jumping skills that are needed become better hitters you using the Plyo box, which is needed. This will help their leg strength along with focusing on their jumping skills. The jump ropes will help with our conditioning, so they can learn healthy skills as they play volleyball. The blocking mitts will help them block without hurting their hands. I feel the items that we requested will make the team work together, so they can be a team.
