Volleyball Knee Pads for Our Middle School Teams!

My students need volleyball knee pads to be successful in their league games. Our Girls volleyball teams are building something special and need safe equipment.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We want our middle school girls to become more invested in athletics and physical activity. We are using volleyball to attract the girls who are not interested in basketball or other more traditional sports.

Our young ladies are always looking for the next challenge to conquer.

They are strong willed girls who strive to be better everyday. We are in a no excuses charter school that focuses heavily on academics. Our school day is long and rigorous and our young ladies need the outlet of athletics and physical activity to balance them out.

My Project

We will use the volleyball knee pads to ramp up our instruction! Our girls are learning so much so fast that its now time to have them learn how to dig and get on the floor after a ball. The Middle school teams see our varsity girls working hard everyday and they want to be the next generation of athletes. They will be able to be more confidant with their movements on the court and will know that the knee pads provide a safety net when its time to go to the floor.

We are building a great volleyball program here.

Some of these girls have the talent to go to college and play and get a great education. This donation will be the stepping stone for some of our girls to understand that they can be athletic, smart and on a path to the college of their choice!
