My Students
We are a large middle school and have a very diverse student population of almost eight hundred students. Our students love school. We hope to give them opportunities that will encourage them to be creative and work to be successful. We have one of the largest, poorest and most diverse student populations in our state.
Our awesome middle school students have special social, emotional and academic growing to do, and it's our job to support them.
My Project
Our middle school is full of students exploring new passions and that includes new sports. Volleyball is new at the middle school for our students, but the towns around us have lots of girls playing in aau clubs and teams. We can't compete unless we get them extra time learning the fundamentals. Our great coach has volunteered to do more skill times with the girls.
Help us get volleyballs that our students can use to learn during a new after school program and then take home to keep practicing.
We want to fill the gap for our students that can't afford a year round sport or expensive club programs.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
