Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Physical activity is critical for a well-balanced educational curriculum. I teach 6th grade in the elementary school setting. My students need a variety of sports like the ones they will encounter when they enter middle school next year. They want to try new activities and sports. These new sports keep them motivated and excited for school.

I am asking for a portable volleyball stand and net so that students can learn to play and our equipment can be put away and protected from the elements when not in use.

This will allow it to last longer, and our school can use it for years to come.

I also request volleyballs and practice volleyballs so students can sharpen their skills.

In volleyball, as in other sports, students learn leadership, teamwork, and respect.
