Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Through theatrical performances, I aim to engage my English language learners in language acquisition, boost their confidence, and enhance their understanding of crucial social and environmental issues. "Don't Let Them Disappear" is a book that beautifully explores the significance of protecting endangered species and their habitats. This makes it an exceptional platform for my students, including those also in special education, to express their boundless creativity and convey essential environmental messages.
From majestic elephants to playful pandas, each costume and prop will play a crucial role in capturing the essence of these endangered animals and bringing authenticity to our production.
The costumes represent endangered animals, including elephants, tigers, pandas, polar bears, and more. Every student has the opportunity to participate in the play and experience the joy of bringing characters to life on stage.
By supporting this project, you will not only provide my English language learners with a unique and enriching theatrical experience but also empower them to become advocates for wildlife conservation in their communities and beyond.
