Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have encountered and conquered many challenges. Many of my students live close to the school which is, unfortunately, in a low socioeconomic part of the city. I am eager to provide my students with a safe and welcoming environment that makes them enjoy coming to school each and every day.

My Project

The use of headphones is frequent in my classroom, especially during ELA time and Math. The headphones allow each student to focus without distractions from other students' devices. By donating to this project, you will not only help me give my students an essential piece of equipment, but you will also help my students focus, which will help them succeed. We live in a world where technology use is expanding and having these headphones would allow for more advanced interaction with all of the improving technology (i.e. videos, podcasts, articles that can be read aloud to students, etc.). I am hoping to get enough headphones to support both my 4th grade class as well as the other 4th grade class in the school at which I teach.
