Voices in Verse Writing Contest

My Project

Voices in Verse is an event dedicated to celebrating creativity, self-expression, and artistic talent through poetry, spoken word, and storytelling. I would like to spotlight talented individual students in grade levels 3-5 who share their unique voices and written perspectives. To recognize and reward the top performers I am seeking donations for prizes that will inspire and motivate participants to pursue their creative passions. Literacy is one of my school's major focal points in student learning and the students have worked very hard in preparing their writing pieces for this event. These prizes (scooters, headphones, microphones, bingo games, chinese checkers) will draw interest and excitement, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and take part in the contest. These prizes will also motivate others to pursue future events like Voices in Verse.
