This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Based on the turbulent times in which we live, everything is going wrong every moment. New problems are brought to light and the old ones just keep evolving. Even our well-thought-out solutions are not working. Meanwhile, some of our communities are ridden with poverty and disease while others are experiencing power shortages - all problems that require money to help address these very big problems.
My learners will have the opportunity to use the printing supplies to put their brands, created and designed by them, into society.
They will have the opportunity to experience the love and support of their school community and contribute to the culture of our school. The money earned from sales will contribute to the "Moving Up" expenses (caps and gowns, 8th grade dance, field trip to D.C., and graduation photos) for the students in the classroom that are transitioning to grade 9. Profits will also be used to replenish materials used in creating products.
Let's give our future business leaders the opportunity to further their artsy talents and develop their entrepreneur spirits.
Entrepreneur is a term used to reference someone who has built and scaled a business to generate a profit. Every entrepreneur possesses a problem-solving mindset also known as entrepreneurial thinking and our club will help our students evoke their superpower of entrepreneurship as they build out designs and logos to market for profit in our school's store!
