Help me give my students four iPads to help increase their learning and address communication needs by having access to digital communication boards and technology in the palms of their hands!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten through fifth-grade life skills classroom is full of students who are beyond eager to learn every day. Because my classroom is self-contained, my students have a variety of abilities. Many of my students have intellectual and physical disabilities that make it difficult for them to do pencil-to-paper traditional learning. Additionally, some of my students have communication impairments that require communication boards.
Being able to have access to digital communication boards via iPads would be life-changing for my students.
Having access to an iPad will not only increase their engagement, but it will enable them to access life skills, job skills, social skills, social studies, reading, math, science, and the arts as well.
Your donations will make a world of difference to all of my students. Giving them multiple outlets to access the curriculum and express themselves will help them tremendously with their academic development.
