Help me give my students index cards on a ring to stay organized and on top of their vocabulary.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Lefkowitz's classroom raised $415

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Staying organized was always a struggle for me. And learning new words is difficult for everyone. As a teacher, I know the importance of organization in math and how vocabulary can be a barrier for students.
These index cards plus rings will allow students to write down new words on one side, and the definition on the other side.
Students will be able to keep these handy throughout the year as we progress through the curriculum. Terminology from Unit 1 will be readily available for Unit 5. This will also teach students autonomy as they will have their own definitions and will not have to rely on teachers as much.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
