In my classroom we use Flocabulary to introduce and review every topic from ELA to math to science! Flocabulary builds language skills as well as brings fun back in to the classroom.
We are a Thinking Classroom when it comes to math, however, we lack the space to use vertical white boards.
A work around for that is chart paper! We will use the chart paper to be able to have math chats in collaborative groups.
Lastly, our classroom is a place where students know they can find a snack if they need one. However, my snack closet is being depleted. These snacks will definitely help me to support my students to persevere and build their brain power.
