My Project

I teach social studies at a Title 1 middle school in a rural district. Many of my students face economic challenges at home, but they show up every day eager to learn about the world around them. With limited resources, it can be difficult to provide engaging, dynamic lessons that truly capture their curiosity and imaginations.

My Project: Research shows that students learn best from primary sources and visual aids.

Maps, photographs, political cartoons and other color visuals are essential for exploring history, geography, economics and civics. However, our classroom's aging black-and-white copier cannot do justice to these rich learning materials.

With your help, I can purchase a new color printer for our classroom. A vibrant color printer will allow me to produce vivid, engaging maps, primary source documents and visuals to support our social studies lessons. My students will be able to analyze real artifacts from history, rather than dull photocopies.

This printer will be treasured classroom equipment that enhances learning for years to come. Your generous donation will give my students a window into the past and inspire their interest in social studies. Any amount helps open up a world of learning for my students!

Print full-color copies of historical maps, photographs, artwork, and documents
