The students want to be indpendent and learn to do things for themselves. With the 3 hole punch, students will be able to walk over and punch their handouts so that they can keep them in their binder. When working on writing there are visual quidelines the students can follow to help with their writing organization. Having a laminator available students can send their visual through the laminator to use over and over as a check off sheet. The laminator sheets are what the visuals need to be put in before going into the laminator. Students benefit from these items to become independent learners.
