Help me give my students visuals during their virtual lessons by giving me access to a printer and math manipulatives.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Oh's classroom raised $376

My Students
My students are all enthusiastic learners. We are an ICT class, with students who have special needs, as well as students who are English Language Learners. Many of them learn best with visuals and manipulatives, which has been a struggle since remote learning has started.
My students live in NYC, which has been affected greatly due to COVID-19.
Getting started with remote learning has been a struggle; however, the students have been enjoying the videos of the lessons that my co-teacher and I post, and mostly the live sessions we have to hang out together and learn.
My Project
As for many, it is my first time teaching virtually. Due to a family emergency, I was unable to go to school to prep for remote learning. Therefore, I don't have many of my resources with me to teach remotely.
With a printer and math manipulatives, I will be able to make my virtual lessons more engaging, as many of my students are visual learners.
So far, I've been drawing all the images myself, but it is very time consuming. So, with a printer, I will be able to print images for students. Also, during math lessons, I will be able to use the math manipulatives, like the base ten blocks to show students numbers visually, instead of always using pen and paper. These resources will allow me to film and teach my videos more effectively. I appreciate all of your support. Thank you!
