My students need an iPad and case for visual scheduling and systems to clarify learning objectives.

Our class of 25 is the most welcoming and loving learning community. We have a few students diagnosed with Autism being served by our classroom and we want to provide the best learning environment possible! We love having so many different learning styles in our room!
Our different learning styles would benefit so much from the many uses of an Ipad!
We have learned as a class that verbally directing doesn't work for all students... so we want to show our kiddos! We want to provide visual schedules, interactive social stories, self- regulation skill support, support when our in the community, and engaging academic games for our kiddos with higher learning needs! Our students always strive to be better, stronger, achieve more, and experience all the world has to offer... an Ipad would create even more opportunity to expand their knowledge!
The Ipad will be used to help our non-verbal students communicate and facilitate verbal communication. We will utilize VIZZLE, an online visual learning program that provides scheduling, social stories and adapt academic materials that are differentiated for our many learners. The Ipad applications provide a wide range of sensory integration applications for calming and self- regulation, not to mention the wide range of academic games that are motivating and engaging!
We choose inclusion.
Students with higher needs still deserve to be educated in the least restrictive environment. Our kids deserve to a voice and appropriate learning materials. The support of an Ipad in the classroom will only further the success of inclusion and keep our kids with their peers! Thank you for your support!
