My Students

My students are intelligent, creative, and fun-loving kids. They come from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, and many of my students are learning how to speak English at school in addition to their home languages. I teach pre-kindergarten, and our classroom is often my students' first exposure to an educational environment. As a first-year educator at a Title I school, my goal is to create a classroom community that is welcoming, inclusive, and empowering to help my students grow to be the best individuals they can be.

We are transitioning from distance learning to in person learning very soon, and I'm getting my classroom ready to welcome students.

As a new teacher, I want to give my students the best learning opportunities I can. My students will love learning with these materials, and the materials will be wonderful additions to our classroom!

My Project

This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me provide visually interesting lessons for my students. The resources I have picked out include word wall vocabulary, question of the day visuals, and themed math and literacy centers.

My class is very diverse, so providing visuals is extremely beneficial for my students' understanding of the lessons.

These materials will be used to support both distance and in person learning. My students are more interested and engaged when presented with visuals to accompany lesson materials. They love to learn about the world around them!
