My Students

Our school is an Early Learning Center that serves Pre-K through 2nd grade only. Many of the students on the campus are Exceptional Education Students, including my Pre-K students. I love to make my classroom fun and educational, all in one.

My Pre-K students love learning with their hands!

Being so young, they thrive on movement and hands-on learning in our classroom.

My students will thrive with the use of multi-sensory approaches. They need an interactive classroom where they can learn using all of their senses.

My Project

As a Pre-K ESE teacher, I work with many students that have not yet developed their communication skills. We often rely on visuals to help them communicate with adults.

I want my students to succeed and to develop their communication skills!

In order to help my students with visuals, I must print them from a program that we subscribe to. By doing so, my printer ink needs repelenished more frequently. I also print the visuals on cardstock and laminate them, so that they are more sturdy and durable for my 3- and 4-year olds to use.

With the funding of this project, I will be able to provide visuals for my students for the beginning of the year.
