Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm an elementary teacher who uses visuals for support and understanding in the classroom. Adding meaningful pictures for understanding would increase the children's vocabulary and knowledge of the world. I work in small groups and one-on-one with students and pictures would be helpful to make connections. Additionally, they would be motivated to learn.
My English Language Learner students would have printed resources to enhance their bilingual learning journey.
They would have decreased fears of giving the wrong answers to questions and encourage them to engage during lessons. Visual aids would assist in explaining the information. My students love to learn and are eager to witness new things at school. This is very rewarding as a teacher. Thank you in advance for supporting my students' learning.
