Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These craft supplies will allow my students to share their creativity and love for Environmental Science with others. They will use these materials to complete there AP Environmental science Capstone Project. They want to go beyond the content and create on of a kind pieces of fashion, tiny homes, children's books and more.

My students are eager to have a variety of materials to use and let their creativity flow.

they get to choose any medium to create one of a kind environmental art pieces. They have already shared ideas of designing floorplans and furniture for scale tiny homes, building boats, design board games giving new life to old fabrics, and writing children's books to read to local elementary students. My students want to make a change by using these materials to give recycled products a new life. They will become green architects building green tiny homes and sustainable green cities. They are most excited for painting children's books to read to the elementary students.

These paints, threads, and design supplies will give them the opportunity to create with others and to teach fellow students and community members in new fun ways about agriculture, migration, endangered species, habitat loss and ecosystems.
